In the 10th century Poetic Edda, a collection of ancient Norse mythos, the god Odin is said to be served by two ravens; Huginn, representing concepts of mind, thought and sense; and Muninn who represents the concepts of affection, intent and will. The ravens are granted the gift of speech, and fly around the world of Midgard each day collecting knowledge before returning at night to inform Odin of what they had learned.
The bag features a large 20x20x5cm front pouch decorated with a massive 90 carat Tigereye cabochon and concho snap closures, and a 24x24x7cm main zippered compartment with a soft, hand rubbed oil finish. Overall dimensions are app. 24x24x12cm (9.5"x9.5"x5")
The hand tooled and painted cover is highlighted in gold & secured with a red deer antler pin.
